Descripción During a visit to a slope located in the sector of Miramar District of Santa Isabel Province of Colon, we noticed that due to the height, the high slopes, the characteristics of the soil (silty-clayey with high plasticity content), landslides in small sectors and high humidity contents that it presents conditions for a landslide that compromises the nearby homes, the communication routes, and the public services that are offered to the neighboring sectors. That is why we carry out a geotechnical analysis to calculate the global collapse failure and thereby keep the slope stabilization proposal within the Safety parameters as established in our Panamanian Structural Regulations in Chapter 6.
Descripción En visita realizada a un talud ubicada en el sector de Miramar Distrito de Santa Isabel Provincia de Colon, nos percatamos que por la altura, las altas pendientes, las características del suelo (limoso-arcilloso con altos contenidos de plasticidad), derrumbes en pequeños sectores y altos contenidos de humedad que el mismo presenta condiciones para un deslizamiento que comprometa a las viviendas cercanas, las vías de comunicación, y los servicios públicos que se brindan a los sectores aledaños. Es por eso que realizamos un análisis geotécnico para calcular la falla a derrumbe global y con eso mantener dentro de los parámetros de Seguridad como está establecido en nuestro Reglamento Estructural Panameño en el Capítulo 6 la propuesta de estabilización del talud.
