Descripción In the social context, the group of young university students globally in an age range of 16 to 35 years has evidenced a high degree of affectation as a result of the impact of Covid-19, a reality that is not alien to the Latin American context and in particular to the environment of the city of Bogotá. The central problem addressed in this article revolves around proposing an analysis of employability and possibilities of work placement, a highly incident factor in the possibilities of local development. The methodology revolves around a type of descriptive research with a method of quantitative analysis, based on the design and application of a structured survey, identifying 138 people as a sample.  The results obtained reflect that for the population group analyzed if there was evidence of an affectation in the levels of employability and permanence in work, observing that 38% of the population is unemployed, and that the population between 16 and 25 years old consider that the pandemic caused by Covid-19 made their levels of income will decrease along with their job stability.
Descripción En el contexto social, el grupo de jóvenes universitarios a nivel global en un rango de edad de 16 a 35 años ha evidenciado un alto grado de afectación como consecuencia del impacto del Covid-19, realidad que no es ajena al contexto latinoamericano y en particular al entorno de la ciudad de Bogotá. La problemática central que aborda el presente artículo gira entorno a plantear un análisis sobre la empleabilidad y posibilidades de ubicación laboral, factor altamente incidente en las posibilidades de desarrollo local. La metodología gira en torno a un tipo de investigación descriptiva con un método de análisis cuantitativo, a partir del diseño y aplicación de una encuesta estructurada, identificando como muestra 138 personas. Los resultados obtenidos reflejan que para el grupo poblacional analizado si se evidencio una afectación en los niveles de empleabilidad y permanencia laboral observándose que un 38% de la población se encuentra desempleada, y que la población entre los 16 y los 25 años consideran que la pandemia provocada por el Covid-19 hizo que sus niveles de ingresos disminuyeran junto con su estabilidad laboral.
