A más de doscientos cincuenta días, aún se desconoce lo que podrá ser el costo total en vidas humanas de la COVID-19 en Haití y República Dominicana. El trabajo presenta un breve acercamiento a la realidad dominico-haitiana en el marco de la COVID-19. Abarca el periodo comprendido de marzo de 2020 a enero de 2021. Se particulariza en temas como: migración y género; en tanto, se enuncian algunos desafíos. Se cree oportuno prestar atención al cumplimiento de los Objetivos para el Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS), al constituirse como una herramienta de planificación; téngase en cuenta que, las afectaciones de la COVID-19 en la cotidianeidad de ambos países son más que evidentes.
