Descripción At present, it is difficult to understand what constitutes and moves the people. What has changed in the political, social and cultural scene, which today complicates understanding the popular will? This article deals with this issue and seeks to deliver an answer, important for the development of democratic coexistence. The great transformations experienced by modern society, in all its areas and, in real time, fracture, move and tense structures and social relations, in which the individual and social groups try to build their human trajectories: some win and others they lose in globalization that devastates traditional senses and identities. All this deeply affects the configuration of the town. Politics also suffers a strong disaffection that spoils it and reduces it in importance. The fragmented people will continue to change in their diversity, making the understanding and convening of politics and ruling elites increasingly complex. We live in a century, characterized by the emergence of the power of information, knowledge, artificial intelligence, science and climate change. Simultaneously, we witness the emergence of a new human subjectivity and citizen social movements, especially feminine, workers, ethnic, socioecological and global.
Descripción En la actualidad resulta difícil entender lo que constituye y mueve al pueblo ¿Qué ha cambiado en el escenario político, social y cultural, que complica hoy entender la voluntad popular? El presente artículo se ocupa de este tema y busca entregar una respuesta, importante para el desarrollo de la convivencia democrática. Las grandes transformaciones que experimenta la sociedad moderna, en todos sus ámbitos y, en tiempo real, fractura, conmueve y tensa las estructuras y relaciones sociales, en los que el individuo y los grupos sociales tratan de construir sus trayectorias humanas: unos ganan y otros pierden en la globalización que arrasa con sentidos e identidades tradicionales. Todo ello afecta profundamente la configuración del pueblo. La política sufre también una fuerte desafección que la desperfila y reduce en importancia. El pueblo fragmentado seguirá cambiando en su diversidad, tornando cada vez más compleja la comprensión y convocatoria de la política y de las elites dominantes. Vivimos en un siglo, caracterizado por la emergencia del poder de la información, el conocimiento, la inteligencia artificial, la ciencia y el cambio climático. Simultáneamente, asistimos a la emergencia de una nueva subjetividad humana y movimientos sociales ciudadanos, especialmente femeninos, de trabajadores, étnicos, socioecológicos y globales.
