Descripción One of the most outstanding features of Information and Communication Technologies in education is the design of multisensory methods that enhance perception and make learning meaningful. Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality are technologies that allow enhancing the forms of perception and assimilation of knowledge by placing them in experiential, pleasant, playful and interactive learning as emerging forms of academic training at any level. This article is a qualitative, documentary, descriptive research of the ways of application of the mentioned tools in the educational process in different disciplines and that can also be applied for the benefit of the Panamanian society. The documents were obtained from the Internet and analyzed within the outstanding educational characteristics of each of the digital tools used. The main conclusion is the need for teachers to adapt to the scenarios that allow digital technologies.
Descripción Una de las características más resaltantes que permiten las Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación en la educación es el diseño de métodos multisensoriales que potencian la percepción y hacen del aprendizaje algo significativo. La Realidad Virtual, la Realidad Aumentada y la Realidad Mixta, son tecnologías que permiten potenciar las formas de percepción y asimilación de conocimientos al ubicarse en el aprendizaje experiencial, agradable, lúdico e interactivo como formas emergentes de formación académica a cualquier nivel. Este artículo es una investigación cualitativa, documental, descriptiva de las formas de aplicación de las herramientas nombradas en el proceso educativo en diferentes disciplinas y que también puedan aplicarse en beneficio de la sociedad panameña. Se obtuvieron los documentos de internet y se analizaron dentro de las características educativas resaltantes de cada una de las herramientas digitales utilizadas. La principal conclusión es la necesidad de los docentes de adaptarse a los escenarios que permiten las tecnologías digitales.
