The essay offers some reflections on "other" ways to know, be and be in the world, especially in matters of consumption and exchange. To this end, he presents some discussions about economic anthropology and nature. It also provides two concrete examples of exchange and reciprocity from two systems of the Ng-be people, the kr'n and the cobare. El ensayo ofrece algunas reflexiones sobre maneras «otras» de conocer, ser y estar en el mundo, especialmente en asuntos de consumo e intercambio. Para ello presenta algunas discusiones sobre la antropología económica y la naturaleza. También brinda dos ejemplos concretos sobre intercambio y reciprocidad a partir de dos sistemas propios del pueblo Ngäbe, el krün y el cobare. Señala cómo tales sistemas de intercambio y reciprocidad han variado a lo largo del tiempo.
