The discovery of a thirty of shipwrecks of having dated early in American Atlantic waters and in the Caribbean, it has generated difficulties when to attribute or to identify these shipwrecks before the scarce trousseau of elements crono diagnoses and the scarce and inexact related historical documentation. The biggest problem that thinks about to the investigator is the establishment of very wide chronological bench marks that prevent to reach conclusions as for the attribution or identification of the sites. Above all, a shipwreck is a punctual fact that happened in an unique instant, and that it is only tinged by natural factors, in particular the hydrodynamic factor that is the main aspect to take in consideration in not very deep waters. The present work constitutes an approach to the problem starting from the study compared among these and of the early artillery with the purpose of establishing a relative chronology along the XVI century that cooperates to a more precise attribution of the same ones. El hallazgo de una treintena de pecios de fechado temprano en aguas atlánticas americanas y en el Caribe, ha generado dificultades a la hora de atribuir o identificar estos naufragios ante el escaso ajuar de elementos crono-diagnósticos y la escasa e inexacta documentación histórica relacionada. El mayor problema que se plantea al investigador es el establecimiento de cotas cronológicas muy amplias que impiden llegar a conclusiones en cuanto a la atribución o identificación del pecio. Ante todo, un naufragio es un hecho puntual que ocurrió en un instante único, y que sólo es matizado por factores naturales, en particular el factor hidrodinámico que resulta el aspecto principal a tomar en consideración en aguas poco profundas. El presente trabajo constituye una aproximación a la problemática a partir del estudio comparado entre estos pecios y de la artillería temprana con la finalidad de establecer una cronología relativa a lo largo del siglo XVI que coadyuve a una atribución más precisa de los mismos.
