Descripción The occurrence of accidents at work is associated with losses due to interruptions, even conditions that directly affect the health of the worker or the human resource, therefore, the prevention of accidents at work is a determining factor in the continuity of any business. The objective of the work is to explore the research that has been published on the prevention of occupational accidents in the port sector worldwide from the year 2000 to 2022. A bibliometric analysis was carried out and a systematic collection method was used through search engines academics: Emerald Insight, Proquest, Science Research, Redalyc and Google Scholar. A total of 35 articles associated with the topic of interest were found, which could be classified into five thematic areas. 90% of the magazines found published only one article associated with the prevention of accidents at work in the port sector. Given the great importance of the port sector in the world economy and the negative impact of accidents at work, it is urgent to carry out more specific studies on the real causes of accidents in the sector.
Descripción La ocurrencia de accidentes laborales está asociada a pérdidas por interrupciones, incluso, a afecciones que inciden directamente en la salud del trabajador o el recurso humano, por lo tanto, la prevención de accidentes laborales es un factor determinante en la continuidad de cualquier negocio. El trabajo tiene como objetivo explorar las investigaciones que se han publicado sobre la prevención de accidentes laborales en el sector portuario a nivel mundial desde el año 2000 hasta 2022. Se realizó un análisis bibliométrico y se utilizó un método de recolección sistemática a través de los buscadores académicos Emerald Insight, Proquest, Science Research, Redalyc y Google Schoolar. Se encontró un total de 35 artículos asociados al tema de interés, que pudieron clasificarse dentro de cinco áreas temáticas. El 90% de las revistas encontradas publicaron tan solo un artículo asociado con la prevención de accidentes laborales en el sector portuario. Dada la gran importancia del sector portuario en la economía mundial y el impacto negativo de los accidentes laborales, urge realizar estudios más específicos sobre las causas reales de los accidentes en el sector.
