Descripción The concept of childhood or early childhood education is a social construct used by pedagogues in the eighteenth century, resulting in psychopedagogical theories and disciplines focused on infants or the subject of psychomotricity. Psychomotricity constitutes an important element in the development of the child, thanks to this the subject can function in space, potentiate skills through the experience of their relationship with the environment. In the current knowledge society, it is suggested to use ICTs to stimulate the child's psychomotor development. Therefore, the problem that arises is how the incidence of ICTs can contribute to the psychomotor development of children during the first five years of life? The objective of this article is to argue the contributions and benefits of the use of ICTs in the psychomotor development of the child during the first five years of age, with the purpose of knowing their contributions, limitations and challenges during this process, through the bibliographic review of authors specialized in ICTs, psychomotricity, early stimulation, technologies, among others. The method that directed this research was the analytical-synthetic method and the hermeneutical method. Therefore, by way of conclusion, from the results of this research it is pointed out that the use of ICTs during the first five years can strengthen learning zones that improve locomotor skills, manipulative skills and stability skills. However, its excessive use can cause disorders related to learning, movement, socio-affective.
Descripción El concepto de niñez o educación infantil es un constructo social empleada por pedagogos en el siglo XVIII, dando como resultado teorías psicopedagógicas y disciplinas enfocadas en los infantes o el tema de la psicomotricidad. La psicomotricidad constituye un elemento importante en el desarrollo del niño, gracias a este el sujeto puede desenvolverse en el espacio, potencializar habilidades a través de la experiencia de su relación con el entorno. En la actual sociedad del conocimiento se sugiere emplear las TIC´s para estimular el desarrollo psicomotriz del niño. Por tanto, la problemática que surge es ¿de qué manera la incidencia de las TIC´s pueden contribuir en el desarrollo psicomotor de los niños durante los primeros cinco años de vida? El objetivo de este articulo consiste en argumentar los aportes y beneficios del uso de las TIC´s en el desarrollo psicomotor del niño durante los primeros cinco años de edad, con el propósito de conocer sus contribuciones, limitaciones y desafíos durante en este proceso, mediante la revisión bibliográfica de autores especializados en temas de TIC´s, psicomotricidad, estimulación temprana, tecnologías, entre otros. El método que direccionó a esta investigación fue el método analítico-sintético y el método hermenéutico. Por lo que, a modo de conclusión, desde los resultados de esta investigación se señala que, el uso de las TIC´s durante los primeros cinco años puede fortalecer zonas de aprendizaje que perfeccionan habilidades locomotrices, habilidades manipulativas y habilidades de estabilidad. Sin embargo, su excesivo uso puede provocar trastornos relacionados con el aprendizaje, movimiento, socioafectivos.
