Descripción The present research was carried out with the objective to analyze the project "Sustainable feeding alternatives in livestock and sanitary management of pets in times of the COVID 19 pandemic", executed during the pandemic in the Veterinary Medicine Career, from September 2020 to February 2022. The modality was online from the students' residence address with people from their family environment. The method used was observation and analysis. The materials were: Final report of the execution of the project, general report of the project executed by the technical professor and closure of the project. To measure the degree of satisfaction of the beneficiaries of the project, a survey was carried out with five evaluation criteria at the end of each academic period during its execution. The main workshops were: feeding alternatives with agricultural products and by-products for livestock, preparation of silage, mineralized blocks, pet care and health and reproductive control in dogs and cats. 87 training workshops were carried out with the community and 29 students out of 95 and 145 beneficiaries out of 475 participated. In the workshops on basic guidelines for the care and education of dogs and cats, vaccination plans and control of internal and external parasites of pets and reproductive control to avoid public health problems. 198 workshops were held, 66 students and 330 beneficiaries participated. In the satisfaction survey, the excellent and very good assessment criteria were higher in relation to the good, fair and poor.
Descripción El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó con el objetivo de analizar el proyecto “Alternativas de alimentación sostenible en ganadería y manejo sanitario de mascotas en época de pandemia del COVID 19”, ejecutado durante la pandemia en la Carrera de Medicina Veterinaria, desde septiembre 2020 hasta febrero 2022. La modalidad fue vía online desde el domicilio de residencia de los estudiantes con personas de su entorno familiar. El método que se utilizo fue de observación y análisis. Los materiales fueron: Informe final de la ejecución del proyecto, informe general del proyecto ejecutado por el docente técnico y cierre del proyecto. Para medir el grado de satisfacción a los beneficiarios del proyecto se realizó una encuesta con cinco criterios de valoración al término de cada periodo académico durante su ejecución. Los principales talleres fueron: alternativas de alimentación con productos y subproductos agrícolas al ganado, elaboración de ensilajes, bloques mineralizados, cuidados de la mascota y control sanitario y reproductivo en perros y gatos. Se ejecutaron 87 talleres de capacitación con la comunidad y participaron 29 estudiantes de 95 y 145 beneficiarios de 475. En los talleres de pautas básicas del cuidado y educación de perros y gatos, planes de vacunación y control de parásitos internos y externos de las mascotas y control reproductivo para evitar problemas de salud pública. Se realizaron 198 talleres, intervinieron 66 estudiantes y 330 beneficiarios. En la encuesta de satisfacción los criterios de valoración excelente y muy buena, fueron mayores en relación a las buena, regular y malo.
