In the district of Baru, province of Chiriqui, it was evaluated the efficiency of three treatments over the control of the black sigatoka: ANVIL 100 EC/OL (0.075, 0.100 and 0.125 kg i.a./ha), the commercial witness TILT (0.100 kg i.a./ha), and the absolute witness (without fungicide). The treatments were applied baginning the third month after the planting in emulsion with agricultural oil and water, at 21 days of intervals doing a total of six applications. It was used the random design blocks (BCR), with five treatments and four repetitions. The evaluations were done each 15 days using the Stover and Dickson Scale modified. Once the study finished, it could be concluded that statiscally were not showed differences in the effect of ANVIL in its formulations of 10 and 25% of emulsified concentrated, in the evaluated dose over the efficiency to the control of the black sigatoka; and that the behavior of this product was similar to the commercial witness (TILT 25%). En el distrito de Barú, provincia de Chiriquí, se evaluó la eficiencia sobre el control de la Sigatoka Negra de tres tratamientos: ANVIL 100 EC/OL (0.075, 0.100 y 0.125 kg i.a./ha), ANVIL 250 EC/OL (0.100 kg i.a./ha), uno el testigo comercial TILT (0.100 kg i.a./ha) y otro sin el empleo de fungicida (testigo absoluto). Los tratamientos se aplicaron a partir del tercer mes después de la siembra, en emulsión con aceite agrícola y agua, a intervalos de 21 días realizándose un total de seis aplicaciones. Se utilizó un diseño de bloques completos al azar (BCR), con cinco tratamientos y cuatro repeticiones. Las evaluaciones se realizaron cada 15 días utilizando la escala de Stover y Dickson modificada. Una vez finalizado el estudio, se pudo concluir que estadísticamente no hubo diferencias en el efecto de ANVIL en sus formulaciones al 10 y 25% de concentrado emulsificable, en las dosis evaluadas sobre la eficiencia para el control de la Sigatoka Negra, y que el comportamiento de este producto fue similar al testigo comercial TILT 25%).
