Descripción The subjects Human Anatomy, Medical Histology and Neuroanatomy constitute the bases of theoretical and practical knowledge for the training of the future doctor; they provide relevant content on the structure of tissues and organs of the human body that will be essential to understand its functioning. Due to the above, a comprehensive review of the 2018 curriculum was contemplated in the update of the 2018 curriculum in order to conceive the integration of the subjects: into a single so-called human structure. In this context, it was proposed to evaluate the relevance of the modification of the curriculum of the Doctor of Medicine and Surgery degree, contemplating the integration of the contents of human anatomy, medical histology, and human neuroanatomy, in the subject Human Structure. For the research design, the action research design was used, which was located within the descriptive scheme, approaching applied research in that it pursues concrete results. Among the main findings are that the subject of Human Structure faces significant challenges in terms of temporal distribution and curricular integration within the framework of an academic semester. Additionally, there is a gap between the theoretical knowledge acquired in the various basic subjects and its practical application.
Descripción Las asignaturas Anatomía humana, Histología médica y Neuroanatomía constituyen las bases del conocimiento teórico y práctico de la formación del futuro médico, aportan un contenido relevante en la estructura de tejidos y órganos del cuerpo humano que será indispensable para comprender su funcionamiento. Por lo expuesto anteriormente se contempló en la actualización del plan de estudios del 2018 una revisión integral del mismo con la finalidad de concebir la integración de las asignaturas: en una sola llamada estructura humana. En ese contexto se propuso evaluar la pertinencia de la modificación del plan de estudios de la carrera de Doctor en medicina y cirugía, contemplando la integración de los contenidos de anatomía humana, histología médica, neuroanatomía humana, en la asignatura Estructura Humana. Para el diseño de la investigación se utilizó el diseño investigación-acción la misma se ubicó dentro el esquema descriptivo, aproximándose a la investigación aplicada por cuanto persigue resultados concretos. Dentro de los principales hallazgos se encuentran que la asignatura de Estructura Humana enfrenta desafíos significativos en términos de distribución temporal y de integración curricular dentro del marco de un semestre académico adicionalmente existe un desfase entre los conocimientos teóricos adquiridos en las diversas asignaturas básicas y su aplicación práctica.
