Descripción This study, was based in the emotional intelligence theory of Gross and other collaborators who have contributed to understanding the development of intelligence and emotional regulation. An exhaustive bibliographic review of different types of studies in relation to this subject was carried out. Theories of emotional intelligence, emotional regulation and development of interpersonal relationships were analyzed. It was proposed to identify the influence that emotional regulation has on the development of interpersonal relationships in 4th year students of the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Panama. The relationship between emotional regulation and the development of interpersonal relationships will be produced. The type of study is correlational, with a single sample design. To collect the research data, the following questionnaires were used: TMMS-24 to measure emotional regulation and the NRI-QV to establish the quality of interpersonal relationships.
Descripción Este estudio, se sustentó con la teoría de inteligencia emocional de Gross y otros colaboradores que han contribuido a comprender el desarrollo de la inteligencia y regulación emocional. Se realizó una exhaustiva revisión bibliográfica de diferentes tipos de estudios en relación a esta temática. Se analizaron las teorías de inteligencia emocional, regulación emocional y desarrollo de relaciones interpersonales. Se planteó identificar la influencia que tiene la regulación emocional en el desarrollo de las relaciones interpersonales en estudiantes de 4to año de la Facultad de Psicología de la Universidad de Panamá. Se determinó la relación existente entre regulación emocional y desarrollo de relaciones interpersonales. El tipo de estudio es correlacional, con un diseño de una sola muestra. Para recopilar los datos de la investigación se utilizaron los cuestionarios: TMMS-24 para medir la inteligencia emocional y el NRI-QV para establecer la calidad de las relaciones interpersonales.
