Descripción The objective of this research is to generate an impact on the Maritime and Port Environment with the Creation of a Container Logistics Center in Panama, which today is only provided in the Atlantic area in the Port of Manzanillo International and take advantage of the movement of cargo containerized cargo that has established itself as the most important item that transits through the Panama Canal, capturing the movement of 24.5 percent of the total cargo tonnage. The research has a descriptive design and for the collection of information it was applied through questions in the maritime and port environment, with answers that imply the knowledge that the respondent has regarding the logistics center in the Atlantic and Pacific area. The results determine that with this implementation the government can concession areas to different national and foreign companies that exploit their products in Panamanian territory, and not only as is done in the Atlantic area, but this will also provide enormous support to mitigate the growing unemployment rate. In conclusion, my project is to cause a positive impact on the options that exist in Panama with the creation of a container logistics center and take advantage of the fact that in recent decades, our economy has prevailed and with the Expansion of the Panama Canal, the strong investments both foreign and national and its powerful logistics industry make maritime transport to Panama a safe investment option, for the creation of a container logistics center in the maritime and port environment.
Descripción El objetivo de esta investigación es generar un impacto en el Entorno Marítimo y Portuario con la creación de un Centro Logístico de Contenedores en Panamá, que hoy día se brinda solo en el área Atlántica en el Puerto de Manzanillo International y aprovechar el movimiento de la carga contenerizada que se ha consolidado como el rubro más importante que transita por el Canal de Panamá, captando el movimiento del 24.5 por ciento del tonelaje de carga total. La investigación tiene un diseño descriptivo y para la recolección de información se aplicó mediante preguntas en el entorno marítimo y portuario, con respuestas, que dan a entender el conocimiento que tiene el encuestado al saber del centro logístico en el área atlántica y pacífica. Los resultados determinan que con esta implementación el gobierno puede concesionar áreas a distintas empresas nacionales y extranjeras que exploten sus productos en territorio panameño, y no solo como se realiza en el área atlántica, esto brindará un apoyo enorme a mitigar la creciente tasa de desempleo. En conclusión, mi proyecto es causar un impacto positivo de las opciones que existen en Panamá con la creación de un centro logístico de contenedores y aprovechar que en las últimas décadas, nuestra economía ha prevalecido y con la Ampliación del Canal de Panamá, las fuertes inversiones tanto extranjeras como nacionales y su poderosa industria logística hacen del transporte marítimo a Panamá una opción de inversión segura, para la creación en el entorno marítimo y portuario de un centro logístico de contenedores.
